Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of https://www.athilientarot.com/ and any reading you book from Athilien Tarot. By placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them before you book.

1. Who can book

You must be 18 or older to book a reading. By ordering, you confirm that you are.

2. How questions are asked.

We don't read yes-or-no questions, and we don't read dates. "Will he come back," "should I take the job," "when will I get married" — these ask the cards to make your decision or fix your future and neither is what tarot does.

What we do instead is reshape the question so it can actually be answered: what's alive in this connection and what would need to change; what each path is asking of you; what the signs look like when something is close.

If your question arrives in yes-or-no form, we'll work on it together before any cards go down. You'll get a better reading for it.

3. Readings involving other people

Many questions involve someone else — a partner, a family member, a colleague. Where that's part of what you're asking, we may look at their thoughts, intentions, and actions as they relate to you, and at the energy between you.

What we won't do is turn a reading into surveillance. We don't read for people who want to catch, confront, or keep tabs on someone, and we don't read on anyone's health, pregnancy, or death. Where a question is really about controlling another person rather than understanding your own situation, we'll bring it back to you — what's yours to see, and what's yours to decide.

4. What a reading is and what it isn't

Tarot is a tool for reflection and perspective. A reading offers guidance, not prediction, and not instruction.

A reading is not a substitute for professional advice. We do not provide medical, psychological, legal or financial advice and nothing in a reading should be treated as such. If you are dealing with a health matter, a legal matter or a financial decision, please consult someone qualified in that field.

A reading shows you the map. Where you walk is always yours to choose and you remain solely responsible for your own decisions and their outcomes.

If you are in crisis or distress, a reading is not the right support and we may decline the booking and suggest more appropriate help.

5. Refusing or ending a reading

I reserve the right to decline any booking, or to end a reading or session already in progress, at my own discretion.

I may do this where a question falls outside what I offer, where the booking appears to be made by someone under 18, where someone is abusive or disrespectful, where a reading is being used in a way that could cause harm to you or to another person, or where I feel the situation needs support of a kind tarot cannot give.

If I decline before any work has begun, you receive a full refund. If I end a session because these terms have been breached — abuse, misrepresentation or recording without consent — no refund is given. If I end a reading for any other reason, I'll refund you fairly for the part that wasn't delivered.

6. Services and descriptions

We currently offer three readings — Quick Clarity, The Athilien Reading and The Immersive Session. Each product page describes what is included, how long it takes, and how it is delivered. We aim to describe them accurately but exact content varies by reading, because every reading is built around what you bring.

7. Pricing and payment

All prices are shown in Rupee and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is required in full before your reading is prepared or your session takes place.

We may change our prices at any time. The price shown when you order is the price you pay.

8. Order acceptance

Your order is confirmed when you receive my confirmation email. See section 5 for when I may decline or cancel an order.

9. Booking and delivery

Quick Clarity is written and sent to your email within 24 hours of the question being settled.

The Athilien Reading and The Immersive Session are live. After you order, I'll email you within 24 hours to find a time that works. Sessions take place on Zoom. I'm in India (IST) and I'm happy to work around your time zone — just tell me where you are.

The Immersive Session includes a written summary, sent to your email within 48 HOURS of the session.

10. Cancellations and refunds

See our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Recording

The Immersive Session may be recorded so that your written summary can be prepared. We will ask your consent before recording, and you may decline. Recordings are deleted within 30 DAYS of the summary being sent. You may not record a session without our prior consent.

12. Confidentiality

What you share with us stays between us. We will not share the contents of your reading with anyone, except where we are required to by law.

13. Feedback and testimonials

I may ask for your feedback after a reading and I may share it on my website or social media. I'll always ask first and you choose whether it appears with your name or anonymously. You can withdraw permission any time by emailing me and I'll remove it.

14. Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, images, branding, and the written material in your reading — belongs to Athilien Tarot. Your reading is for your personal use. Please do not reproduce, resell or publish it, in whole or in part, without our written permission.

15. Prohibited uses

You may not use this site or our services to break the law, harass or abuse anyone, submit false information, interfere with the site's operation or attempt unauthorised access to any part of it.

16. Limitation of liability

Our readings are provided for guidance and reflection. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Athilien Tarot is not liable for any decision you make, any action you take or any loss you suffer following a reading. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.

18. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published when you place your order.
